Day 1, year 49. We’re back.
The first day of guest skiing in the 2026 Ruby season.
Six runs in four different canyons. Good skiing is found in sheltered north facing terrain.
Wind and sun affected snow surfaces exist in upper elevations. Despite a very slow start to the winter, we are happy to be finding acceptable coverage and skiable terrain.
16 guests arrive tonight for a 50th birthday weekend tour.
Flying weather is forecast to remain exceptional as the west coast its dominated by a high pressure ridge.
Sleep well, see you tomorrow.
