Six runs in Snell and the Lamoille Canyon Area.
Freezing temperatures overnight locked up the saturated snow surface providing a smooth, mostly supportable surface in Snell Canyon.
Right Fork had a mix of grabby wind affected snow, a consolidated firm surface and warming soft snow on the lower fans of the run.
Flying around in the mountains was the highlight of the day with good flying conditions and Nevada blue sky overhead.
The other highlight was the wedding. After the ski day we flew to the top of Talbot Creek for an incredible ceremony overlooking Lamoille Canyon and the Dome to the south.
A full lodge arrives tonight for the weekend three-day tour.
There is a lot of active weather in the long term forecast.
Let it snow.
See you in the morning.
