I have always liked the mid-fall time when the clocks go back an hour.
Short days, long nights and I always associate this time of year with the winter to come.
The mountains are white with a beautiful storm Monday Night with 4-6 inches of snow falling at the long elevation.

December brings the first ever Holiday Dinner Experience to the lodge on weekends where new chef Matty Meheles will get familiar in the lodge kitchen and ready to roll when year 48 of Ruby begins the second week of January.
