The east wind continues.
A lot of wind transported snow and 5 runs today in Conrad Creek in the snowcat terrain.
The 48 hours of East wind has hammered open east facing slopes.
The best skiing is in sheltered trees and leeward facing slopes.
The wind is expected to decrease overnight with calm conditions settling in for tomorrow and Sunday.
It has been wild seeing a rare wind direction that we don’t see often. East wind banners of 200-300 feet ripping off the high elevations for the last 2 days.
Looking forward to the calming wind trend.
See you in the morning.
Sleep well.
