After 2 days (Friday and Saturday) of some of the best skiing of the season and opening many new runs for the 2024 winter with improved stability, we finished the gun guarantee on Saturday and skied an extra vertical run.
The weather was meant to deteriorate today with increasing wind and cloud cover ahead of a low pressure system expected to bring accumulating snow to the area on Tuesday. We did not ski today as all package guests enjoyed the time change wake up and departed after breakfast as their skiing was complete.
Sixteen new guests arrive this evening for the mid-week three day tour.
There is a winter storm advisory in effect beginning 5 AM Tuesday – 11 AM Wednesday with up to a foot of new snow likely in the Ruby Mountains.
