Small groups means greater attention to detail.

Truly escape the crowds at our privately owned lodge at the base of the Ruby Mountains. From the moment guests arrive at the lodge they are welcomed by our staff with a friendly and warm greeting. Get settled in your room, set up with skis and gear, enjoy a handcrafted cocktail from the Ruby 360 Bar overlooking the Great Basin, meet the guides and talk ski conditions and indulge in our nightly dinner service with anticipation of sitting in an A-Star and flying into the Rubies in the coming morning.

beautiful accommodations

Arriving at Ruby 360 Lodge is an experience in itself, the lodge is located at 7,000 feet with inspiring 360 degree views of the Ruby Mountains to the south and east and the Great Basin Valley to the north and west. It is a mountain experience with all the comforts of home and luxury details located at the base of the Rubies. Warm lighting fixtures, radiant floor heating, small touches that will not go unnoticed to our guests. The lodge has 10 guest rooms, all with different photos of memories from ski days in the Rubies through the years. Read from different articles framed on the lodge halls and get a feel for what makes Ruby a special family-owned operation. The great room and ski room act as social gatherings during the cocktail hour in the evening and coffee conversation areas in the early mornings watching the sunrise in the eastern sky. The goal of Ruby is to treat everyone who comes through the door like family; relax with a glass of wine on the fireplace hearth, take a seat at the bar for a hand crafted cocktail, enjoy the Ruby Mountain night sky in the brand new hot tub and make memories which will last a lifetime.

exquisite food & beverage service

The whole experience of Ruby is what sets us apart. The lodge, the mountain range, the staff’s attention to detail, the skiing, the terrain, and the heart and soul we put in each day which is felt by each of our guests. The food and beverage program is a key part of the Ruby experience. Francy Royer and her 40+ years of culinary knowledge along with her trained team bring passion, creativity and the love for food to life with incredible menus beginning in the morning for breakfast, on mountain lunch, apres’ ski cocktail hour and appetizers and dinner & dessert service. Guests have said they love the skiing here but they come just as much for the quality of food, fresh ingredients and inspiring menus that treat your body and soul just as much as carving the perfect powder turn.

The Ruby 360 Bar is open nightly offering a variety of domestic and locally brewed beer from Ruby Mountain Brewery. The bar has a great wine list featuring red, white and rose varieties from wineries around the West Coast. Cocktails are made nightly with a themed cocktail of the night during the season, the habanero margarita with infused habanero tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, a touch of maple syrup garnished with a grilled lime wedge has become a guest favorite. The 2017 “first season” of the lodge oak barrel is kept filled with crown royal for a smooth finish, the perfect sipping nightcap drink before returning to your room with thoughts and anticipation of the adventure ahead.
