The crew is back in town.
Guide training for year 49.
We spent the day going over Ruby protocols, fueling procedures and medical gear inventories.
The Ruby Mountains are under a Winter Storm Advisory through tomorrow with up to a foot of new snow likely in the mountains.
We are hoping to wake up to a fresh coat of white.
Training continues through January 11th with an avalanche & snowpack consultant and wilderness medical doctor arriving tomorrow for classroom sessions, mountain scenarios and rescue drills.
Sweet dreams.
