January 29, 2026. full reset.

A full reset throughout terrain after yesterday’s 5-8 inch storm above 9,000 feet.

We skied six runs with four groups in Lamoille Canyon today with fast shallow powder conditions on a mixture of east, northeast and north facing terrain.

Throughout the run, especially on steeper sections, the old surface could be felt. On lower angle terrain and on the more northern aspects, new snow skied much deeper than the storm totals.

The three-day weekend crew is arriving this evening.

A lot of returners on this coming tour, last year was nearly three full days of cat skiing for them. This year the weather looks like incredible flying conditions.

Hmmm where should we go with a stable snowpack and full terrain reset?

See you tomorrow for day 1 of the three day tour.

Sweet dreams.
