The weather forecast was for a weak low pressure system moving through today with grey skies and increasing chances for snow showers. We were unsure of how much skiing we would be able to get in today due to the forecast.
Nine runs later and skiing the final three runs of the day under moderate snow, we finished day one of the three-day tour.
Talbot Creek and a very stable snowpack, although thin, for the first time in the 2026 season with good skiing throughout terrain skied today.
Weather conditions improve tomorrow with clear, cold and calm conditions expected continuing through Sunday.
