A surprise delay in the anticipated winter storm allowed us to get in the aircraft for the first time this season today skiing 4 runs in the helicopter.
Visibility deteriorated after our 4th run so we did an on mountain transition from heli to snowcat, skiing 4 additional runs to finish the day.
Light snow was falling as we exited the mountains with a major winter storm lurking, likely to impact the area tonight through Sunday Night.
Snow totals are impressive with feet likely by Monday.
