For the second day in a row, we woke up to what we thought might be a flyable condition.
We flew from the lodge to an established aircraft landing at the base of Conrad Creek and transition into the snowcats for cat skiing.
Holes of sun came through all day, always followed by heavy snow showers and to the ground cloud.
We stayed in Conrad Creek in the snowcats for 9 runs with incredible skiing conditions.
55 cm – 22 inches- of new snow in the last two days with the best conditions of the season so far.
It’s as good as it gets anywhere, anytime right now at Ruby.
The pattern stays active with a Winter Storm Warning in effect Sunday Night- Tuesday afternoon with up to 2 feet of new snow likely above 9,500 feet.
Winter showed up.
Sleep Tight.
