Ripping winds of 80+ mph for the last 12 hours have been hammering the mountains and moving in a series of powerful low pressure systems.
The first moved through the area last night with 3-5 inches of snow at the lodge elevation and 8-12 inches throughout Conrad Creek in our cat skiing terrain.
We are expecting more snow tonight as the second waves moves across the Great Basin with an additional foot+ of new snow by tomorrow night.
Snow is currently falling at the lodge.
The single day crew arrives tomorrow night for the Thursday ski day.
Let it snow. The drought is over.
See you in the morning.
