March 22, 2026. High Talbot Creek.

We spent the day in high Talbot and Thorpe Creek for the final day of the tour.

The first run of the day was variable with good skiing in the upper elevation and unsupportable punchy snow in the lower area of the run.

The next four runs were higher elevation and held quality spring corn conditions.

It is incredible that in the middle of this historic western heat dome we continue to find good skiing.

The high elevation of the Ruby Mountains with 50 peaks above 10K and 15 peaks towering above 11K continue to provide quality skiing in the middle of the current dominant high pressure ridge.

A new crew arrives this afternoon/ evening for the mid-week three-day package beginning tomorrow.

Sweet Dreams. See you in the morning.
