47 years to the day, the dream started.
March 17, 1977 was the first day of Ruby, with several guests in the southern Ruby terrain.
And here we are today. We celebrated by skiing extra vertical in Talbot Creek and a heli- assist tour took a lift into the Ruby Dome Area.
Cold, shallow skiing in sheltered north facing terrain, with spring conditions on solar aspects.
Sixteen guests arrive this evening for the mid-week three-day tour.
Spring is here at Ruby with warming daytime temperatures and cool nights.
Flying looks incredible for the next few days.
