March 16, 2025. big wind.

After two back to back nine runs days and completing the package run guarantee, the third day of the tour was very windy as forecasted.

We knew the wind was coming so we wanted to get as much skiing done in the first two days of the tour as possible.

Wind picked up overnight with strong gusts at the lodge and a high speed of 97 mph recorded at our weather station at 10,000 feet.

200+ foot wind banners are currently visible from the lodge as the west wind rips across the high elevations.

Sixteen guests arrive this evening for the mid-week three day tour.

Wind is expected to remain strong through the day today and decrease tomorrow with snow moving into the area by tomorrow mid-day.

We will see you in the morning.
