March 15, 2025. wild weather.

The snowcat terrain saves us again.

Nine runs of powder skiing in the cats today, teased by the weather for a clearing.

We saw a bit of everything on the mountain today, brief sun, thick cloud, heavy snow constantly changing weather that didn’t improve for long enough through the day to allow us to get all groups into the aircraft.

Thankfully we have the snowcat terrain and the backup snowcat skiing for our guests in the event of a down weather day like today for us to be able to ski the incredible snow quality that currently exists even though the aircraft wasn’t able to fly.

A great day in Conrad and a flight home to finish it off.

Light snow continues tonight with a strong wind event likely tomorrow for the final day of the current three day tour.

Eighteen runs for this crew in the last two days.

What a time to be alive.

Sweet dreams.
