March 10, 2023. bad with the good.

Sometimes you just have those days.

A 12-hour period at 10,000 feet with wind gusts ranging from 90-122 mph and heavy snow.

We did not ski today due to high winds concerns. We took several recon missions in the cat with the guide crew to the top of Conrad Creek to check on the weather and simply- it was not a place anyone would have wanted to be today.

Around sunset- a beautiful sight- clearing skies and high hopes for tomorrow.

Active weather is expected to remain through the weekend with potential windows each day for a chance to get into terrain.

See you at the window in the morning.
