The hyped return to winter over delivered in the Ruby Mountains with more than 9 inches of new snow at the lodge elevation (7,000), more than 15″ new at 8k and feet in the upper elevations in 24 hours.
It was the storm we needed.
Guide training begins tomorrow with the first skiing guests of 2024 arriving on Thursday.
The weather remains active through the next week with multiple storm systems expected to bring additional accumulating snows to the Great Basin.
