Eight runs in Lamoille Canyon and Thomas Canyon.
The best skiing was in Thomas Canyon where the snow surface was cold and recrystallized.
Each run today was more than 2,000 feet of vertical.
High winds aloft were just above our operating area today as we were to have a successful first day in the high alpine.
Temperatures remained cold with high temps in the mid 20’s and a crystal clear sky.
My favorite moment today was skiing a lower pitch in the Head of Lamoille Canyon with the snow surface sparkling like a sea of diamonds.
What a place. More to come.
High pressure and normal temperatures remain in place for the foreseeable forecast period.
