February 4, 2025. in the air.

After 4 straight days in the snowcats and nonstop extreme southwest winds, we were able to get a full day in the aircraft as the winds decreased.

We skied 10 runs in Cold Creek with a mix of shallow powder and wind affected snow surfaces.

It was nice to get into the air and to see some terrain we haven’t been in for weeks.

Winds are expected to increase again tonight with a powerful storm forecast to move into the area Thursday evening through Friday Night.

See you in the morning for the final day of the three-day tour and single day arrival night.

Sleep well.
