You ever see the movie Groundhog Day? It is where Bill Murray relives the same day over and over.
Today was our third straight day in the snowcats, skiing 6 runs with continued pounding SW winds on the final day of the current three day tour.
18 runs in Conrad Creek the last three days, all in the snowcats with relentless wind and moisture.
Winds ripped not only at the upper elevations but at the lodge also during the last 12 hours with consistent gusts in the 50-70 mph range and an 84 mph gust at the 3AM hour.
A group of 16 is arriving this afternoon for the midweek three day trip.
The weather models are all over the place for the next few days with some calling for wind, others not, some cloud and some sun.
We will see you at the window in the morning and let you know what the mountains say.
** Also, six more weeks of winter. We are ready for it.**
Sleep well.
