We followed up the Christmas storm with a full day of snow today at the lodge.
Since Christmas Eve, nearly 10 inches of snow has fallen at 7,000 feet.
It was a full day of plowing, shoveling and keeping the lodge road open.
Joe took the cat to the top of Conrad today and turned around quickly due to heavy snow and near zero visibility.
Snotel sites which measure total accumulated snowfall are showing around 30″ of total snow at 8,000 feet.
More snow is expected through the end of the year with Winter Storm Advisories currently in effect with the potential for several feet of snow as we say so long to 2024 and welcome to 2025.
The lodge has one more holiday dinner weekend coming up with nightly dinners on January 2, 3 and 4th. Then we quickly transition to the winter season with the winter crew arriving the first week of January and the guide team arriving for the first day of training January 9th.
It’s all happening and we couldn’t be more excited for it.
Keep the snow coming.
