A low pressure system moved through the area last night.
It was very festive with a sold out dinner night at the lodge and snow falling outside.
After nearly 2 weeks of high pressure it’s nice to see it white.
2″ or so at the lodge with more above. The pattern stays active with a stronger system expected tomorrow (Saturday) bringing accumulating mountain snowfall.
High pressure builds for the end of the month with a potential pattern change to bring in 2025.
We need a few good storms to get rolling. Year 48 begins January 12th.
I am gifted an advent calendar each year counting down until Christmas, this year is one of my favorites with a sweet treat and a different constellation theme each day. Draco the Dragon is my favorite so far- making up part of the Big Dipper, Draco is one of the few constellations that never sets and is visible year round. Fun fact for your Friday.
