Seven runs today, three in the aircraft being chased around by upper elevation level clouds and ultimately pushed into the snowcat terrain for the final four runs of the day before an exit via the helicopter back to the lodge.
Dozens of natural avalanches observed this morning from storm slab instabilities from the large storm system and more than 2+ feet of snow above 9,000 feet.
The range also took some wind in the last 24 hours with several upper elevation canyons showing rippled snow surfaces that resembled more of an ocean wave surface rather than a mountain snow after a big storm.
The clouds move out this evening with clear, calm and cold conditions expected tomorrow.
Goodnight to all.
