It seems like yesterday was the first week of January and we were preparing for our 46th season.
Now it’s March and the season is rolling.
A surprise storm with more than 6 inches of new snow overnight and through the early morning hours.
We started the day with three runs in the snowcats due to a low cloud layer and light snow. Decreasing clouds through the late morning allowed for improving conditions and clearing skies. We finished the day skiing 5 helicopter runs in Thorpe and Talbot Creek, finishing with an unforgettable final run from the top of Conrad Creek, skiing down the ridge and taking off our skis on the lodge walkway.
Truly epic skiing conditions through the day of cold, fast, shallow powder.
A storm system is expected to bring another round of wind and snow to the area beginning tomorrow morning, remaining active through the weekend.
Just can’t get enough. See you tomorrow.
