It might be spring but it feels a lot like winter.

12 degrees this morning at 10,000 feet.

Snow and cloud kept us in the snowcats today for three extra vertical runs in Conrad Creek to finish the tour.

  • More than 10.5 inches of liquid precipitation has fallen since March 1st at the Upper Lamoille Snotel site. Generally given a 10:1 snowfall ratio, you can figure 1 inch of liquid equals around a foot of snow. A record year with more to come.

16 new guests arrive this afternoon for the Thursday single day.

Active weather remains in place over the Great Basin for the short term forecast period with potential windows each day to get in the air.

Sweet Dreams.
