To the Dome. The day of the season or one of them.
Day one of the tour, 4 groups, 11 runs and five different canyons.
We got into Seitz Canyon for the first time since late January skiing the Come Line and Rolling Thunder and then moved to the Ruby Dome Saddle for the first time in the 2025 season.
It is always a treat to get into the high alpine.
The stability has improved during the last several days allowing us to open new terrain we haven’t seen for months.
A strong crew of skiers here and we were ripping through the mountains.
Snell Canyon- always the best way to end the day was incredible skiing the afternoon light through the gladded white bark pines and aspen trees.
The brilliant weather continues tomorrow for day 2 of the tour.
