A great snowstorm yesterday with consistent snow at the lodge elevation through the day and very little wind.
The sky cleared overnight to welcome the arrival of the aircraft today to begin the season.

There is a buzz in the air and the energy around here is popping. We are about to have a hell of a season.
We will know a lot more about the snowpack, coverage and ski quality in the next few days once we get on the mountain and get a look at terrain from the air.
High pressure is expected for the next few days with a weak low on January 11th bringing light snow for the first guests arrival on the 12th.
A major pattern change to an active West is expected around mid-month.
