January 11, 2023. the hunt resumes.

The first day on the mountain for the guide crew.

An incredibly beautiful day after a powerful storm system packed with snow and wind yesterday delivered wind gusts of more than 100mph at our remote weather station at 10,000 feet. Eighteen inches of snow fell in the last 24 hours throughout our ski terrain.

Depending on drainage, we are seeing anywhere from a 5-9 foot base throughout our ski terrain today ranging from 8,000 feet to 10,500 feet with more above.

16 guests arrive tomorrow evening to begin year 46.

The Rubies are on.

Feels like Christmas Eve.
