Strong winds throughout the day beginning this morning with huge wind transport visible across all terrain.

Recorded winds sustained in the 30-40 mph range with gusts of consistent 70-90 mph throughout the day.

The snow surface has been affected by the strong winds with open slopes being beat up and the best skiing found in protected north facing trees.

The weather is forecasted to improve tomorrow with decreasing clouds and wind before a strong low pressure system moves in by Sunday bringing accumulating snowfall to the area.
