The forecast was calling for increasing wind, cloud and light precipitation today when the tour started on Friday.
We let the guests know that we planned to ski as much as possible the first two days of the tour (Friday and Saturday) while we had great flying conditions.
Incredible skiing to go along with brilliant flying weather the last two days before as the forecast suspected, a weak system moved in this morning.
Eighteen runs in two days to finish the three day package guarantee and with the deteriorating weather today all guests chose to end the skiing on the high note of yesterday’s 10 run day and to head out this morning on the scheduled departure day.
A new group of 16 arrives this afternoon for the mid-week three day tour.
Residual cloud is expected early tomorrow morning before burning off mid-day. High pressure takes a grip on the Great Basin for the next week with normal temperatures and sunny skies.
We will be seeing a lot of the range in the next week.
