What a storm.
The winter storm advisory was upgraded to a winter storm warning through the night of December 1st.
We had a Christmas Party for a local business at Ruby 360 Lodge last night. It was a very festive night especially when the snowflakes started to fall. By the time guests left, it was as wild as weather gets, cars stuck, zero visibility, heavy snow.
The lodge woke up to more than a foot of new snow overnight with more above.
The great start to the winter continues.
It looks very wintery around the lodge right now with snow packed roads, big snowbanks everywhere and the very white/ inviting Ruby Mountains just waiting for year 46.
The active weather pattern looks to continue through next week.
