Day 1, Year 46.
We battled a strong Southwest wind all day today to open year 46.
We found good shallow powder skiing in Talbot Creek, skiing 5 runs before being closed out by windy conditions in the afternoon.
Active weather is expected beginning tomorrow afternoon with a Snow Advisory for the Ruby Mountains with up to a foot of new snow likely by Sunday morning.
A lot of work goes into each season and its always a treat to see it come together and begin what we all love most.
The earliest Ruby opening in decades.
More to come.
