The forecasted high wind warning rolled through the Ruby Mountains today. Unflyable conditions with strong winds. We loaded the snowcats and headed for the top of Conrad. The cat road is in rough shape with ice covering much of the lower road from snowmelt and the recent melt/ freeze cycle. Actually the road is impassible. […]
